Our story: A legacy built on passion and community

The story of Fatts Brass Golf Course starts with our uncle. Long before it was a course people could come play, it was just a piece of land, a dream, and a lot of hard work. Our uncle slowly built it over 25 to 30 years, not with big machines or a big budget, but with patience, dedication, and a love for the game of golf. As kids, we grew up around that course. We watched him mow, shape, fix, and improve it year after year. At the time, we may not have realized how much work he was putting in, but we knew that place was special. It was where we learned how to golf, where we spent time with family, and where we built memories that stayed with us.

We envision Fatts Brass Golf Course growing into a positive recreational space for the Siksika Nation community. Right now, it is a small family-run course, but in the future, we believe it can become a place where youth, families, elders, and beginners feel welcome to come out, learn the game, and enjoy being active outdoors. Our goal is to make golf affordable, relaxed, and accessible, offering a chance to try golf without pressure. It can be a place for school groups, youth programs, family events, and small tournaments, creating opportunities for training, employment, and volunteer experience.
